Country Roads Trust debuted Trust Lager on Wednesday night, their own beer partnered with Big Timber Brewing. 15% of all beer sales will go to Country Roads Trust, WVU’s NIL collective for student-athletes.

Country Roads Trust presented the lager at the Tap House on Oakland St. to the public and media.

“The team at Country Roads Trust is excited for this launch,” General Manager and COO Stephen Ford said. “Big thanks to Big Timber Brewing Company. Both teams worked hard on this collaboration and can’t wait to see it at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium and across the state.”

Trust Lager will be sold at WVU football games and will be throughout the state of West Virginia by the end of August.

“The funds generated through sales of the lager will help create even more NIL opportunities for Mountaineer student-athletes in our state’s communities,” Ford added about the lager.

Country Roads Trust was founded in January 2022, one of the country’s first NIL collectives at the NCAA Division-I level. CRT was created by Oliver Luck and Ken Kendrick, and currently has an advisory team highlighted by Jerry West, Pat White, Don Nehlen, Darryl Talley and other WVU greats.
