Mountaineers in the Pros
Watch: Joe Mazzulla Drops Mic After Celtics Even Up Series with 76ers
How did Joe Mazzulla lead the Celtics to a game 2 win after a bad loss to open their semifinals series with the 76ers? Adjustments and using anger as extra motivation definitely helped if you ask Mazzulla.
Unfortunately, no one in the media asked the former Mountaineer about his adjustments.
Mazzulla, taking a page out of the book of his mentor Bob Huggins, left the podium in Boston asking why no one wanted to know about the adjustments he had his team make between the game 1 loss and the game 2 win.

He even admitted he kinda liked that losing a game, especially when the opponent was without the league MVP in Joel Embiid, mad him and his team mad.

This is far from the first time Mazzulla has acted in a manner at a press conference that made WVU fans compare him to his Hall of Fame former coach.
The NBA Eastern Conference Semifinal series between the Celtics and 76ers is now all tied a game each. Game 3 tips off at 7:30 pm ET on ESPN from Philadelphia.
