Rasheed Marshall and Garrett Greene watch great Black WVU QBs in honor of Black History Month

In honor of Black History Month, a WVU legend guided West Virginia’s current quarterback on a history lesson. Rasheed Marshall sat down with Garrett Greene as the two watched old clips of all-time great quarterbacks, who just so happened to be African Americans.

Marshall and Greene both made comments about Mountaineer legends like Major Harris, Pat White and Geno Smith and even other quarterbacks like Darren Studstill and Jarrett Brown. Greene then got to see some of Marshall himself in action.

For some of what they said, Marshall brought up how Harris was way ahead of his time and why he feels Studstill does not get the credit he deserves for being a big part of a special season in program history.

Since he’s still playing in the NFL today, Greene was able to speak more about watching Smith. Marshall then added that Smith was the most pro ready among all of the quarterbacks they watched.
