WATCH: Safety Sets Up First Touchdown for WVU Football Against Colorado
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – WVU football struck first against Colorado with an unconventional special teams score, as sophomore safety Israel Boyce blocked a punt that resulted in a safety.
Redshirt senior wide receiver Justin Smith-Brown tried to jump on the ball in the end zone, but the ball made it out of bounds.

On the next possession, WVU drove all the way to the end zone and punched in a two-yard touchdown run from sophomore bandit Curtis Jones Jr.
