All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2025 WVU Football Roster.

Jarod Bowie grew up in West Virginia, winning the 2019 AAA state championship at Martinsburg High School.

He then represented the Mountain State for three seasons at the D-II level, suiting up for West Virginia Wesleyan and Concord. Bowieโ€™s performance at Concord, where he earned a D-II All-American nod and racked up more than 1,800 receiving yards, helped him pick up a Division I offer with Rich Rodriguez at Jacksonville State in 2023.

While Bowie saw his playing time drop during two seasons with the Gamecocks, he showed enough for Rodriguez to bring him along to WVU Football this past offseason.

Representing his home stateโ€™s flagship university during his final college season, Bowie could help the Mountaineers as a reserve wide receiver or on special teams.

Bowie played alongside fellow Mountaineer and receiving target Jacob Barrick at both Martinsburg and Jacksonville State.

Last year: Bowie hauled in 13 passes for 207 yards and added three carries.

Stats: The 5-foot-9, 162 pound receiver earned a chance at Division I after racking up 1,773 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns at West Virginiaโ€™s D-II Concord University. He transferred to Jacksonville State ahead of the 2023 season, largely serving as a reserve under Rich Rodriguez.

Camp outlook:ย Rodriguez expressed concern over WVU Footballโ€™s depth at wide receiver during the spring practice period. As a result, Bowie could see more usage than he did at Jacksonville State.

Projected role:ย Bowie will likely serve as a backup wide receiver or get snaps on special teams.

Accolades, highlights:ย Bowie earned a First Team All-State nod in 2019, helping Martinsburg to a Class AAA state championship.
