UPDATE – 1:23 p.m.

The Charleston Gazette-Mail’s Rick Ryan is reporting that the WVSSAC will allow winter sports athletes a week of conditioning prior to the official start of practices on Feb. 15. Also spring and fall sports are allowed to begin their conditioning and weight training programs on that date.

UPDATE – 7 a.m.

New WVU football offer is out to Villanova graduate transfer Jaquan Amos, a Philadelphia native who appeared in 33 games during three season for the Wildcats. Amos was credited with 149 tackles, six tackles for a loss, eight interceptions, two fumble recoveries, three fumbles forced and four defensive touchdowns during his time at Villanova. As an FCS player, however, there was no 2020 season for Amos.
