WVU Adds Three-Star JUCO Lineman

Published

on

Within the last hour, the WVU football class of 2020 expanded to include one more member as Iowa Western Community College offensive tackle Jacob Gamble pledged his commitment to the Mountaineers. Gamble has one year of junior college remaining and should join the program for the 2020-21 season.

Gamble is a well-regarded and extremely sought after JUCO product, garnering offers from Florida State, Houston, Louisville, Kansas State, and Iowa State among many others, in addition to WVU. Standing 6’6″ and weighing in at 310 pounds, the big man strikes an imposing figure and looks to bring some well-needed size to the Mountaineer offensive line. There is an existing connection to the WVU program as he is currently a teammate of 2020 commit S.L. McCall. The pair from Iowa Western will look to make an impact on a Mountaineer team that will be looking to move up in the Big 12 a year from now.
