WVU Fans Pleased with Darian DeVries’ Mountaineers in Season Opener
WVU fans were able to watch the new-look Mountaineers play an actual game that counts under Darian DeVries for the first time on Monday night. And even though West Virginia did face an opponent any Big 12 team should beat convincingly, DeVries’ team dominated Robert Morris 87-59 from start to finish, making fans very pleased with game No. 1.
Below shows some of the reaction from during and after the game.
What #WVU has missed on the Basketball floor is NBA caliber talent. They have that this year. Team could be good in the first year of the re-build

Front court depth is still a concern, but they definitely have some guys that can play

It’s amazing how much joy a #WVU basketball team that can actually shoot brings me.
