WVU Football DL commit Taylor Brown

The WVU football program lands another commitment for the 2025 class, this one from defensive lineman Taylor Brown. The news was first revealed on Instagram.

Brown (6-foot-3, 250 pounds) attends Dr. Henry Wise High School in Upper Marlboro, Md. He ended up picking West Virginia over offers from Buffalo, JMU, Marshall, Memphis, Pitt, Temple among others.

Brown’s commitment comes after taking an official visit to WVU last weekend. He’s one of West Virginia’s more recent offers, receiving the call on April 6 of this year.

247 Sports has Brown ranked as a three-star prospect and the No. 17 player for his class in Maryland.

In his junior season, Brown recorded 22 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, two sacks and one pass deflection.
