WVU Football OL recruit Camden Goforth

WVU Football signed three-star offensive lineman Camden Goforth Wednesday on National Signing Day.

He received his offer from the Mountaineers on May 23, and announced his decision in a post to Twitter (X).

Goforth, a center who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 295 pounds, originally committed to Coastal Carolina. At his height, a switch to tackle wouldnโ€™t end up out of the question either.

Despite the flip, Goforth noted in his commitment post that his recruiting is now โ€œshut down:โ€ the Mountaineers clearly made an excellent impression.

Goforth also holds offers from close to two dozen other collegiate programs including NC State, Liberty, Memphis, Navy and Tulane.

A native of Athens, Tenn., Goforth currently attends McMinn High School as a rising senior.
