The WVU football program removed wide receiver Oran Singleton from their official roster on Monday at the start of the bye week.

After transferring to West Virginia during the 2025 offseason, Singleton recorded four catches for 22 yards as a Mountaineer. He also had 34 rushing yards.

Singleton did not play in either of WVU’s last two games after making two catches against Kansas.

Singleton Jr. transferred to WVU following a breakout campaign with Eastern Michigan in 2024. A 5-foot-9, 165 pound receiver, Singleton picked up more than 630 yards with the Eagles last season despite an offense that favored the ground game.

He made 64 catches for 639 yards and two touchdowns in 2024.

A former All-State recruit in the extremely competitive Florida, Singleton committed to Akron out of high school: he spent two seasons with the Zips before transferring to Hutchinson Community College for a year.
