WVU head coach Neal Brown often refers to long snapper Austin Brinkman as “underrated” but he’s now receiving some national recognition. Brinkman has been named to the Reese’s Senior Bowl 2024 Midseason All-American Team.

The Midseason All-American Team was announced on Thursday and selected from the best overall college football players who are eligible to participate in the 2025 Senior Bowl.

The Bel Air, Maryland, native is a fifth-year senior in his fourth year as the long snapper for WVU punts, field goals and extra point attempts. Brinkman has played in 43 consecutive games, earned three Academic All-Big 12 honors and was a 2024 Iron Mountaineer recipient.
