WVU Football Recruiting
WVU Remains in Running for 2025 3-Star WR Out of Virginia
WVU is still in the running for a three-star wide receiver from Virginia. Jayden Anderson announced his top six schools Wednesday morning, including the Mountaineers among five other major programs who often recruit against West Virginia.
Anderson, who attends Green Run High School in Virginia Beach, listed Auburn, Maryland, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech along with WVU. Listed at 6-foot and 162 pounds, Anderson is considered a three-star recruit in the 2025 class, holding that rating from two national recruiting outlets.
I truly appreciate every school who has taken their time out to communicate with me and offer me a chance to come to their program. After talking it over with my family, I am going to focus on these schools and the coaches who I have built great relationships with. THANK YOU! pic.twitter.com/zuyryle5fH

In addition to these schools, Anderson has offers still on the table from Campbell, Duke, East Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Marshall.
West Virginia has always prioritized wide receivers in recruiting and has recently made Virginia an area of focus with wide receivers coach Bilal Marshall leading the charge for southern players.
