West Virginia signee Josiah Harris continues to lead Richmond Heights through the OHSAA Division IV Tournament, as the Spartans defeated Aquinas 77-54 on Friday night. With the win, Richmond Heights won their district title. Richmond Heights will play Berlin Hiland in the state semi-finals at the University of Dayton on March 19.

The future Mountaineer was doing it all on Friday night. Harris had 10 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in the win.

“[I’m] just trying to get the dub,” Harris told WV Sports Now.

The 6-foot-7 forward has been leading the Spartans throughout his senior campaign, averaging 19.7 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Harris is ready to come to West Virginia this summer, but he’s not done trying to win a state title. Harris commented on what he can bring to a program.

“I feel I can bring leadership, winning plays, rebounding and shot making,” he said. “I can shoot it from anywhere on the floor. I can be versatile on defense and offense.”

Harris and Richmond Heights are just two wins away from a state title in Ohio.
