Coveted 2024 4-Star WR Keylen Adams Includes West Virginia in Final 4

A top wide receiver recruit from Virginia has narrowed down his final four to a group of schools who often compete against each other for talent.

Keylen Adams, who has one more remaining season left at Green Run High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia, released the four programs he’s now looking at – West Virginia, Pitt, Penn State and Virginia Tech.

Adams is listed at 6’1” and 170 pounds and is considered a four-star player by most national outlets, in particular 247Sports and Rivals. Even beyond his star classification, both outlets have Adams among their top three 2024 recruits in the state of Virginia. Rivals has him at number three while 247Sports has him as the number one Virginia based player in his class.

Prior to getting down to his top four, Adams received 21 total offers from major programs like Florida State, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina, Ole Miss and Syracuse. He even had communication with Clemson and Ohio State, but did not receive official offers.

WVU did add a few transfer receivers to replace those they lost, but gaining others out of high school is still necessary based on the minimal eligibility remaining of the transfer receivers, especially Devin Carter with just one season left.
