2024 4-Star LB Recruit Andrew Hines III Includes West Virginia in Top 12
After pulling in a solid 2023 class, the West Virginia football program is back out recruiting and in the running for a top linebacker.
Andrew Hines, a four-star linebacker out of Atlanta, Georgia, has WVU in his current top 12. Hines announced the Mountaineers as part of his list on Sunday.

Listed at 6 foot and 214 pounds by 247 Sports, Hines just wrapped up his junior season at Woodward Academy. To show where the belief in his worth stands, Hines is placed as the number 32 player in the state of Georgia and inside the top 10 at 9 in terms of outside linebackers in the 2024 class, according to Rivals. Conversely, he’s the number 43 overall 2024 recruit in Georgia and 30th linebacker in the country on 247 Sports. Rivals
In addition to WVU, Harvard, California, Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, Tennessee, South Carolina, Duke, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska and Wake Forest round out Hines’ group of team he’s considering.
WVSN caught up with Hines months ago once WVU got in the mix for the four-star Georgia product.
