A popular quarterback prospect adds WVU to his list of offers despite having most of his high school career in front of him. Kahden Davis, a 2027 product, announced his West Virginia offer on Friday.

Davis, who currently stands at 6-foot and weighs 200 pounds, is already receiving attention after just his freshman season at Seton Hall Prep in Jersey City, N.J.

Davis revealed to WV Sports Now what he heard from WVU when he received his offer.

“They said they really like my game play and how I throw the ball. Great anticipation and tight spiral. They loved my film and said I was a special talent and they would love for me to see me become apart of the mountaineer family,” said Davis.

Davis made sure to thank WVU quarterbacks coach Tyler Allen while revealing the offer. He also recognized WVU defensive line coach Andrew Jackson, who has also been involved in his recruitment to this point.

The Mountaineers are getting involved in a pursuit of Davis early on in his overall recruitment, but are far from the first program to send him an offer. Duke and Maryland have already offered the young quarterback.
