MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – It was announced by the West Virginia basketball program that the Texas game for Saturday is sold out. WVU head coach Bob Huggins reacted to the news during his press conference on Friday afternoon. Huggins was a little shocked that it was a sell out.

“People have been wonderful,” Huggins said. “We couldn’t have asked for a better crowd, better fanbase.”

This will mark the third game this season that is sold out, with the other two being Pitt and Kansas. Huggins says it best. It is pretty remarkable that the West Virginia faithful never give up on their Mountaineers. For a team that is 14-14 and dealing with many frustrations over the last two months, the fans will always show up and support their favorite team. This is why Huggins wants to win the state of West Virginia a national championship one day.
