Bracketology Has West Virginia in First Team Out of Tournament After Baylor Game

After No. 8 Baylor handed West Virginia their sixth-consecutive loss, 81-77ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has updated his most recent projection. Lunardi has listed WVU as the first team out in the NCAA Tournament.

On The Bubble:

Last Four In – San Diego State, Florida, Creighton and Wyoming
First Four Out – West Virginia, Oregon, Mississippi State, Florida State

The positive for the Mountaineers is that they moved up in the NET rankings, which are used to determine the NCAA Tournament participants. Despite the loss, WVU has moved up three spots in the rankings to No. 61.
