BREAKING: West Virginia lands elite JUCO scorer Sean McNeil

This evening, the West Virginia basketball family grew a little larger as top JUCO scoring guard Sean McNeil announced his commitment via Twitter.

McNeil chose the Mountaineers over Western Kentucky, Oregon, Texas Tech, Dayton and Ole Miss.

He averaged 29.7 points per game including shooting 49% from the field and 43% from three. McNeil is a pure scorer, which exactly what this team needs to have to get the turnaround going.

He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
