BREAKING: WVU Starting Safety JoVanni Stewart to Miss Texas Game
According to West Virginia head coach Neal Brown, WVU starting SPEAR, JoVanni Stewart will miss the Texas game this weekend. “He’s not going to play this week. We’ll treat it just like any other situation. It’s next man up. We’ll know more on that next week. We feel really good about our other guys.”
Stewart is in his second year as a starter and has tallied 17 tackles, 1.5 TFL and 2 pass breakups so far in 2019.
On the other hand, linebacker VanDarius Cowan will be making his Mountaineer debut this Saturday.
