On Friday afternoon, former West Virginia forward Seny Ndiaye announced on his social media that he will be transferring to South Carolina-Upstate.

Ndiaye entered the transfer portal on Feb. 7, leaving West Virginia after two seasons.

“Our guys come here, they’re going to go to school and they’re going to come to practice,” WVU head coach Bob Huggins said after Ndiaye entered the portal. “Do the right thing.”

Ndiaye played 20 games in two seasons at West Virginia, tallying just 60 minus of play. The 6-foot-10 forward recorded two points, 15 rebounds and five blocks during his time playing for the Mountaineers. Ndiaye becomes the second player to transfer from the program this season, as Taj Thweatt transferred to Coastal Carolina, back in early January.
