All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.

The Mountaineers have just four players listed at EDGE on their 2026 roster and, of all of them, Harper Holloman might provide the safest bet. The 6-foot-2, 253 pound junior started all 13 games at Western Kentucky last season while playing defensive end.

While he didnโ€™t get to the quarterback with frequency, amassing just two sacks and six hurries, he did a good enough job of containing his side of the pocket that he earned a third team selection on the All-Conference USA team. Now that heโ€™s listed at EDGE, Hollomanโ€™s role will likely shift more toward a traditional pass rusher.

That could provide some growing pains, as could his transition to Big 12 football, but Holloman has the best combination of experience and talent of the Mountaineersโ€™ edge rusher group. Expect him to compete with ESPN Top 300 recruit and rising redshirt freshman Tobi Haastrup for the majority of snaps on the edge.

Stats: 39 tackles (19 solo), two sacks, 5.5 tackles for loss, four pass breakups and an interception

Post-Camp Outlook: Holloman is one of four players listed at EDGE on the WVU Football roster. Having a specialized role is a good path to more playing time, and each of the other three players in the position group bring a similar level of experience to the table.

Projected Role: Expect Holloman or Tobi Haastrup to take the lead at EDGE this season. Holloman has the advantage of more playing time, but it came at a lower level of the sport; Haastrup is the young blue chip whose talent could win out.

Accolades, Highlights: Holloman earned third team all-conference honors for his performance at Western Kentucky. His cousin Albert Haynesworth was a first round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans in 2002, so Holloman has both natural potential and experience to call upon.
