Josh Sapp’s Big Game Experience Invaluable for Mountaineers | WVU Football All 105

West Virginia acquired Josh Sapp to add tight end depth and add some big game experience to the new-look offense. Sapp, listed at 6-foot-2 and 235 pounds as a redshirt senior, brings starting experience under a national championship head coach to West Virginia.
Sapp was part of a career-high 267 snaps as both a blocker and pass catching tight end in 2025 with Clemson, making 11 catches for 150 yards. He has 273 receiving yards with two touchdowns in his college career.
The Greenville, S.C. native was a three star recruit out of high school in 2022. Sapp picked WVU over staying closer to home and jumping to the other side of Clemson-South Carolina rivalry with the Gamecocks.
