“Yeah, it was good. I thought we did a nice job correcting some of the things we talked about from the first game. [Saturday] we had 22 turnovers, this game I believe we were around nine, which is great. I thought they did a much better job of taking care of it there,” WVU HC Darian DeVries said after the win. “Overall, I liked our defensive intensity especially when we got settled into the game. Again it took us a few minutes which would be expected after a couple days of walking around the city.”
“Loved how we shared the ball, love how we’re playing together, playing connected. Got a lot of guys a lot of minutes again, which is terrific. Trying to make the most of all three of these games and get as many guys that valuable time is a great advantage of having a trip like this. Overall, very pleased, happy and ready to move onto the next spot,” DeVries continued.
