JUCO DB Commits to WVU Football After ‘Amazing’ Visit
In addition to building a strong high school class, the WVU football staff has been working to sprinkle in some junior college players as well. To that end, they just landed a commitment from Rayshawn Reynolds Jr., a cornerback out of Hutchinson Community College in Alabama.
Reynolds’ commitment comes after his official visit over the weekend. He then returned home excited about his experience in Morgantown, posting as much on social media on Monday morning.
“Had an amazing official visit to Morgantown!!!,” said Reynolds. He also added a few eyeball emojis to send a message about his interest in joining the Mountaineers. He committed a couple hours later.

Reynolds was a sophomore in 2025 and recorded 19 total tackles and a couple interceptions in two seasons with the Blue Dragons.
