West Virginia currently sits at 15-11 with five regular season games to go. Mountaineers will then head to the Big 12 Conference Tournament in hopes to solidify their NCAA Tournament resume. Scenario No. 3:

West Virginia wins the remaining home games, loses both road games. WVU then loses first round of Big 12 tournament.

Result: 9-seed

Scenario No. 4:

West Virginia goes 2-1 at home, loses both road games. WVU then loses first round of Big 12 tournament.

Result: 11-seed, play-in at Dayton

Scenario No. 5:

West Virginia finishes out regular season 4-1. WVU then wins one game in the Big 12 tournament.

Result: 5-seed

Scenario No. 6:

West Virginia finishes out regular season 1-4. WVU then loses first round of Big 12 tournament.

Result: No NCAA Tournament bid
