The last time McBride scored more than 12 points was when he totaled 16 at Minnesota on Dec. 19. Seeing McBride get back to being productive is a nice plus for a Knicks team that loses depth with him out of the lineup.

Despite being interrupted by injury, McBrideโs season has already been historic from a personal perspective.
McBride reached 1,000 career points while contributing to the Knicksโ 145-118 win over the Denver Nuggets on Nov. 25.

In December 2023, McBride signed a $13 million extension with the Knicks over the next three years. The Knicks traded away several players throughout the season, allowing McBride to pick up more minutes in the rotation.
