Mountaineers in the Pros: Former WVU Big Man Sagaba Konate Signs With New Overseas Team
Former West Virginia big man Sagaba Konate has signed with a new overseas team, he announced on Twitter Sunday morning.

Konate signed with P.A.O.K. BC, based in Greece. PAOK plays both in the Greek Basket League and in Pan-European competitions. Konate previously signed with Basket Zaragoza in the Spanish Liga ACB in September.
Konate left WVU a season early following the 2018-19 season and was not selected in the 2019 NBA draft. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Toronto Raptors and played with their G League affiliate, Raptors 905.
He holds the all-time WVU record for career blocked shots with 191.
