WVU Football WR commit Brandon Rehmann

WVU football adds an offensive weapon to their 2024 recruiting class, gaining a top Pennsylvania wide receiver recruit in Brandon Rehmann.

He signed his national letter of intent on Wednesday’s National Signing Day after committing to West Virginia in June.

Listed at 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, Rehmann comes from the prestigious St. Joseph’s Prep School in Philadelphia, PA. He’s recognized as a consensus three-star recruit.

Rehmann chose West Virginia over offers from major programs like Boston College, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan State, Oregon, Penn State, Pitt, South Carolina, Tennessee and Wisconsin.

Landing Rehmann continues WVU’s pipeline to St. Joe’s Prep, having also secured linebacker Josiah Trotter as a 2023 recruit.

WVSN talked with Rehmann recently when he completed his storied high school career with a Pennsylvania 6A Football championship

In our story, Rehmann credited West Virginia’s coaching staff—offensive coordinator Chad Scott and receivers coach Bilal Marshall, in particular—for believing in him more than he believed in himself.

“Coach Scott was our area coach, and he saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself, and I appreciate him for that,” Rehmann said. “Coach ‘Lal, he’s their receivers coach, and I have an unbelievable bond with him already. He saw something in me that I actually didn’t either, so it was just amazing that they took the chance to put in [an offer] to me.”
