WVU Football recruit Zae Jennings

WVU football secures a versatile athlete for the class of 2024 in three-star Zae Jennings.

The 6-foot-2 and 192-pound Jennings signed his national letter of intent with West Virginia on Wednesday’s National Signing Day.

Jennings initially committed to the Mountaineers in early June, just days after he completed his official visit.

Ranked as a three-star prospect, Jennings attends Colerain High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has experience playing quarterback and running back, but is mostly viewed as a safety in college.

Jennings is listed among the top 50 Ohio players in his class by multiple national recruiting outlets.

Jennings also had offers on the table from Akron, Austin Peay, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, JMU, Marshall, Massachusetts, Miami (OH), Purdue, Toledo and Western Michigan.
