West Virginia has extended an offer to Pennsylvania native Matthew Gilhool. Gilhool is a 2024 power forward out of Elizabethtown.

Gilhool’s coach confirmed the offer by West Virginia to high school basketball scout Ari Rosenfeld.

Gilhool (6-foot-10, 205 pounds) is heading into his junior season at Elizabethtown Area High School. Gilhool also plays for Philly Pride on the AAU circuit. The Pennsylvania native has picked up offers from Bryant, Mississippi State, Penn State and Rutgers. Gilhool visited Penn State back in June.

West Virginia has extended many offers to other members in the class of 2024 such as Tyler Betsey and Jaeden Mustaf. WVU’s coaching staff has been in contact with other 2024 prospects as of late.
