Poll: How Many Remaining Games Will WVU Football Win This Season?

Even though most have higher expectations, reaching a bowl game would do wonders in generating a trust in the West Virginia program moving forward. To become Bowl eligible, the Mountaineers need at least 3 more wins before the end of the season.

With 5 games left on the schedule, and many of them against ranked opponents, is winning 3 more games something that’s likely to happen? WVU sits at 3-4 after losing a game that saw Texas Tech outscore the Mountaineers 48-10.

Next up is a home game with undefeated TCU. After that, WVU travels to Iowa State. Oklahoma then comes to Morgantown. And while OU is being down by the Sooners’ normal national contender standards, WVU has never been able to beat Oklahoma since joining the Big 12. The season closes with matchups against Kansas State at home and Oklahoma State on the road. It’s not an easy remaining slate by any means.
