WVU transfer target Olivier Nkamhoua is set to visit Michigan on June 2, as first reported by anonymous insider Trilly Donovan. Nkamhoua’s visit was confirmed by multiple Michigan insiders.

Nkamhoua, who is transferring from Tennessee, is scheduled to visit West Virginia from May 27-28, a source told WV Sports Now earlier this week.

Nkamhoua (6-foot-8) started for the Volunteers this past season, as the team made the Sweet-16. Nkamhoua averaged 10.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists through 36 games. Nkamhoua shot 51 percent from the field. The Finland native played four seasons for Tennessee.

Michigan has been a name connected with Nkamhoua since the senior forward entered the transfer portal on March 30. Nkamhoua participated in the NBA G-League combine two weekends ago and appears to be viewing college options now.

Michigan head coach Juwan Howard and his staff scheduled a visit for Nkamhoua after the West Virginia one was released. Nkamhoua will visit Morgantown this weekend and then head up to Ann Arbor next week.

West Virginia has set their attention on Nkamhoua this week as the coaching staff continues to search for more transfer additions. The Mountaineers bring in RaeQuan Battle (G – Montana State), Jesse Edwards (C – Syracuse), Kerr Kriisa (G – Arizona), Jose Perez (G – Manhattan) and Omar Silverio (G – Manhattan). WVU is looking to add depth to their rotation for next season and believes that Nkamhoua can take them over the top in the Big 12.
