Teddy Allen Granted Release from WVU
Earlier this afternoon, freshman forward Teddy Allen took to Twitter to announce his intentions to transfer from West Virginia after the university granted him his release.
As a freshman, Allen averaged 7 points and 2.7 rebounds per contest but found himself in head coach Bob Huggins’ doghouse in the middle of the season due to “attitude issues.”
Once one scholarship over the NCAA limit, the Mountaineers will now meet that limit.
