UCLA grad transfer Fisher will not join WVU

Morgantown, WV – It has been confirmed by multiple sources that former UCLA cornerback Denzel Fisher will not be joining the West Virginia football program.

Fisher announced back in the spring that he would come to West Virginia as a grad transfer. Fisher was unable to take care of some academic issues in order to complete the move.

It is unknown if Fisher will sign with WVU for 2019, but it is much in doubt. Defensive coordinator Tony Gibson will more than likely address the teams needs in the 2019 recruiting class.
