Watch: Former WVU F Jalen Bridges Walks into Coliseum First Time with Baylor

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Former WVU F Jalen Bridges walked onto the WVU Coliseum floor for the first time since transferring to Baylor. Bridges transferred from WVU to Baylor last April.

Bridges is in his third season playing in college basketball, two with West Virginia and one with Baylor. The Fairmont native played in 61 games for the Mountaineers from 2020-22, starting in 52 of those games. Bridges was a part of the 2021 NCAA Tournament team which he started the second half of the season on.

During his sophomore season, Bridges averaged 8.4 points and 4.8 rebounds in 33 games.

Following the 2021-22 season, Bridges entered his name into the transfer portal, leaving his home state for the first time. Bridges was recruited highly by Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan State and others, before committing to Baylor and staying in the Big 12.

Bridges has played 15 games with his new team, averaging 8.9 points on 48 percent shooting from the field.
