West Virginia Basketball’s Regular Season Finale Against Kansas State Sold Out

No matter what happens leading up to West Virginia’s regular season finale, one thing is now for certain – that game be in front of a packed house at the WVU Coliseum.

On Monday, the Mountaineers announced their home game against Kansas State to close the regular season is officially sold out. This matchup with the Wildcats is designated as Senior Day and will offer a sendoff before the Big 12 Tournament for the seven total seniors on the roster.

Jose Perez is included in that group of seven even though he has a remaining year of eligibility after being denied his transfer request to play this season and the program now expects him to return.

West Virginia current sits at 15-12 (4-10) and now facing pressure to start a win streak in order to secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament. After Monday night’s game against Oklahoma State, WVU will go on the road for back-to-back battles with ranked opponents in Kansas and Iowa State before returning to Morgantown to face Kansas State.

WVU lost to Kansas State in Manhattan, Kansas 82-76 back on New Year’s Eve of 2022.
