A now former Mountaineer is taking the country roads to Marshall. Offensive lineman Bryce Biggs announced that his commitment to Marshall on Wednesday, just a few days after receiving an offer to stay in West Virginia from Marshall.

“Herd Nation! I’m coming home again,” said Biggs.

Biggs revealed his intentions to transfer from WVU via social media on Dec. 2.

“I will be entering the transfer portal as a grad transfer with one year of eligibility left,” he wrote. “I appreciate my time at West Virginia and the coaches’ efforts in helping me develop as a man and a player.”

Biggs is an in-state product who was high school teammates with left tackle Wyatt Milum at Spring Valley.

He appeared in 10 games at West Virginia and was mostly used on special teams.

Biggs’s decision to leave the Mountaineers came only one day after WVU fired head coach Neal Brown. Biggs was the first player to announce his plans to transfer after the firing.
