The West Virginia Sports Now Recruiting Notebook will keep you updated on all the recruiting news going on with the West Virginia football and basketball teams.

 

Update (5:21 PM)-

**WVU is the third school to offer 2024 wide receiver Taron Haile (6-foot-1) from Millville, New Jersey. Haile also has offers from Virginia and Maryland.

Update (3:22 PM)-ย 

**2023 lineman Jimmy Mullen from Kearny, New Jersey received an invite and will take part in a West Virginia summer prospects camp.


Update (2:47 PM)-ย 

**This afternoon, West Virginia extends an offer to 2022 4-star defensive end Beau Atkinson from Leesville Road High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Atkinson (6โ€™6โ€, 240) also holds offers from California, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan, Minnesota, NC State, Penn State, Purdue, Virginia, Virginia Tech. Atkinson has scheduled official visits to Michigan and Virginia.


Update (10:35 AM)-
**West Virginia extends an offer to 2023 4-star defensive end Gavin Hill (6’3″, 245) from Gainesville, Florida. Hill holds offers from Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Central Florida, Arkansas and Troy.

Update (10:26 AM)-ย 

**Ashton Whitner is a 2022 safety from Greenville, South Carolina. At this stage of his recruitment, Whitner holds 25+ offers including from schools like West Virginia, Syracuse, Indiana and Maryland.
