West Virginia to Get Official Visit From 4-Star Cornerback Amare Snowden

The West Virginia football program could end up benefiting from a recent coaching change.

Since the departure of Luke Fickell from Cincinnati to Wisconsin, many current Bearcat 2023 commitments have either been de-committing or considering other programs.

One of the bigger losses for the Bearcats is 4-star cornerback Amare Snowden and that could be big news for Neal Browns’ team.

The 6’3” cornerback says that he has scheduled an official visit to West Virginia from December 9-11.

Snowden is ranked by Rivals as a Top 250 recruit, with offers from Iowa, Kentucky, Penn State, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Pitt and West Virginia.

West Virginia currently has one commitment from a defensive back in their Class of 2023: 3-star cornerback Josiah Jackson from Fairfield, Ohio.
