Georgetown transfer forward Akok Akok has committed to West Virginia as first reported by Joe Tipton of On3 Sports.

Akok (6-foot-10) entered the transfer portal for the second time during his collegiate career on Friday. He enters this time as a graduate transfer so he will not need a waiver.

Top prospect Cooper Flagg announced on Friday afternoon that he is reclassifying from the 2025 class to 2024. Flagg has been targeted by West Virginia’s staff over the past year.

Flagg is regarded as the No. 1 high school prospect in the country.

Iowa State running back Jirehl Brock, defensive lineman Isaiah Lee and a couple of their teammates have been charged with tampering as part of a gambling probe, according to court records discovered by the Des Moines Register. Lee is now also being accused of betting against his own team.

Based on a report by Brett McMurphy of the Action Network, Lee bet against the Cyclones in their game against Texas in 2021.
