On Wednesday, WVU Basketball received great news that RaeQuan Battle and Noah Farrakhan are available for the next two weeks after Judge John P. Bailey issued a TRO against the NCAA’s transfer rules.

Battle and Farrakhan will now have the option of playing for at least the next two weeks for the Mountaineers without punishment towards the school or student-athletes. Let’s take a look at WVU’s POTENTIAL rotation.

WVSN’s Projected Rotation if Battle, Farrakhan Play

1: Kerr Kriisa, Noah Farrakhan, Jeremiah Bembry

2: Kobe Johnson, Ofri Naveh, Seth Wilson

3: RaeQuan Battle, Josiah Harris

4: Quinn Slazinski, Akok Akok

5: Jesse Edwards, Patrick Suemnick, Ali Ragab

It is currently unknown if Farrakhan would suit up for the Mountaineers. Farrakhan could save this season of eligibility and still have two years left. If so, I would keep Kobe Johnson at the off-guard position while shifting to another point guard option. In either scenario expect Battle, Ofri Naveh, Seth Wilson and Josiah Harris to share the two and three positions.

West Virginia will travel to Springfield, Mass. to take on UMass in the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic. It’s expected that Battle will make his WVU debut with Kerr Kriisa.
