WVU Baseball Pitchers Taken in Later Rounds of MLB Draft
On the heels of JJ Wetherholt being selected with the No. 7 overall pick by the Cardinals on Sunday night, a pair his fellow WVU baseball alums were drafted on Monday.
With the No. 133 pick, pitcher David Hagaman was taken in the fourth round by the Texas Rangers. Hagaman, a New Jersey native, came to WVU out of high school in 2022. After taking a redshirt year, Hagaman appeared in 22 games in 2023 and then 18 this past season.
