WVU Basketball Hosts Pair of North Carolina Recruits During Weekend
WVU Basketball hosted 2025 four-star G Jordan Lowery and 2024 three-star C Chol Machot over the weekend for a visit. Lowery and Machot both play at Winston Salem Christian School in North Carolina.

Lowery (6-foot-1) has picked up offers from Cal, East Carolina, Kansas State, Missouri, NC State, Oklahoma State, Saint Louis, Seton Hall, SMU, TCU, Wichita State and others. Lowery has not been officially offered by West Virginia. Lowery has also visited Arkansas, LSU, SMU, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.
Machot (7-foot) has received offers from Cal, Mississippi State, Missouri, Seton Hall, TCU, VCU, West Virginia and others. WVU’s staff offered Machot on Oct. 6.
