WVU assistant Jordan McCabe originally offered Adkins in September. Adkins then officially visited West Virginia in October and wasn’t left disappointed.
“What stuck out to me most from the visit was [the] hospitality from the players while I was there. They made me feel like I belong,” Adkins told WV Sports Now. “I love Morgantown a lot, the fans are truly die-hard fans while I was walking with the players multiple students and parents gave their support for this year’s season.”
