The other top choices for Huff, according to his agency, are Iowa, St. Johns, Vanderbilt and WVU rival Pitt.

Huff began his career at VMI in 2021-22, earning a spot on the Southern Conference all-freshman team by averaging 10 points per game while shooting 44% from the floor.

He then transferred to Chattanooga and sat out the 2022-23 season. He started all 33 games in 2023-24, averaging 17.4 points and making 109 three-pointers. Huff was named All-Southern Conference second team.

This season, Huff averaged 15.2 points per game while leading the country with 131 three-pointers. He shot 42.4% from the floor and 41.6% from range. He earned All-Southern Conference first-team honors.

Huff helped Chattanooga go 29-9 this season and win the NIT championship. In the final against UC Irvine, Huff scored 14 points despite shooting just 3-of-13 from the field and 3-of-11 from three.

Huff set career highs of 31 points and nine three-pointers in a game against VMI this season.

WVU basketball has added a pair of transfers already this week in UNC-Wilmington’s Harlan Obioha and North Texas’s Brenen Lorient. High school recruit DeAndre Thomas Jr. also committed to WVU this week.
