WVU Football Pursuing Highly Regarded 2027 3-Star Florida OL

Always looking to add more to the future of the offensive line, the WVU football staff sent an offer to a top Florida prospect on Tuesday and then went to see him in person days later.

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 280 pounds, Colt Hauser revealed his West Virginia offer on social media. The West Palm Beach, Fla. product can now add the Mountaineers to his offer list that already includes North Carolina and North Carolina State.

WVU head coach Rich Rodriguez and senior offensive assistant Travis Trickett reached out to Hauser with the offer. Trickett then traveled to spend time with him.

Rated as a three-star recruit and the No. 150 offensive lineman in the talent-rich Florida, Hauser is also ranked as the 106th best interior offensive lineman in the country by 247 Sports.

In addition to the ACC schools and WVU, Hauser has offers from Army, FIU, Liberty, Navy and Troy.

The state champion now becomes an offensive lineman to watch as West Virginia continues to build a strong 2027 class.
