WVU Football OL recruit Ryan Massie-Cable

The WVU football is pursuing a top 2027 offensive line recruit despite his existing commitment to another Big 12 school.

To make their interest official, West Virginia sent an offer to Ryan Massie-Cable on Wednesday, April 29. Massie-Cable revealed his new offer on social media.

And now months after committing to Cincinnati, Massie-Cable has a new decision to make. He initially committed to the Bearcats in mid January.

Massie-Cable, listed at 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, attends Taylor High School in North Bend, Ohio. Rated as a consensus three-star, Massie-Cable is considered a top 40 player in the state by both 247 Sports and On3 Sports. He’s even ranked as high as the No. 61 interior offensive lineman in the country.

With other offers from Liberty and Toledo, WVU becomes another Power Four opportunity competing with his Cincinnati commitment.
