WVU Football’s Addae Headed to 2022 Hula Bowl

Published

on

January 15, WVU safety Alonzo Addae will cap off his time representing the Mountaineers with a trip to the 2022 Hula Bowl in Orlando, Fl. The University of Central Florida’s Bounce House Stadium will play host, and the game will be broadcast at 12 p.m. EST on CBS Sports.

Addae, a redshirt senior, joins 111 other players from all positions on the All-Star roster. He’s one of a group of nine safeties from the likes of Miami (Fl.), Minnesota, South Carolina, Western Kentucky, Wisconsin, Tulane, East Tennessee, and Georgia Tech chosen. All 32 NFL teams will be in Orlando to watch the game, as well as eight Canadian Football League teams, and this very well might act as the conduit for Addae’s future in professional football.

Addae, who hails from Pickering, Ontario, concluded his pair of WVU seasons with 139 tackles, 10 pass breakups, two interceptions, and a forced fumble.
